

A 62-year-old man who was last seen in Lancaster more than a week ago has been found, authorities said Tuesday.
John Frias was last seen about 2 a.m. June 20 near 15th Street West and Avenue J, and authorities had sought public help to find him. The California Highway Patrol originally issued a Silver Alert for Frias on June 21.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearance of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
On Tuesday, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported that he had been found.
No additional details were released.
