The Los Angeles Police Department Friday sought the public’s assistance to locate a 15-year-old Mission Hills girl with diminished mental capacity.
Shalawra Kellin was last seen about 8 a.m. on June 10 near her home in the 10600 block of Sepulveda Boulevard, according to the LAPD, which reported that she has the mental capacity of a 9-year-old and requires various medications for an undisclosed medical condition.
The teen is Black, 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 135 pounds, with yellow hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and black pants.
Anyone with information on Shalawra’s whereabouts was asked to contact LAPD Mission Area Juvenile Detectives at 818-838-9810 or 818-838-9800. Calls made during non-business hours or on weekends can be directed to 877-527- 3247.
