Driver arrested in Norwalk on drug and firearm charges

A driver is in custody Thursday after being pulled over by sheriff’s deputies in Norwalk and charged with possession of methamphetamine and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.

The arrest came after deputies stopped a vehicle around 11 p.m. Wednesday in the 11900 block of Firestone Boulevard for tinted windows, according to the watch commander of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Norwalk Station.

The name of the suspect was not immediately released.
