

Irvine police Tuesday sought public help to find a 79-year-old man with dementia who walked away from his home.
Eric Hill was last seen about 6 p.m. Monday near Ridge Valley and Irvine Boulevard, police said.
Hill is white, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs 170 pounds, and has gray hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a red/yellow striped shirt, tan pants and slippers. He frequents Beacon Park and Parasol Park, which are near his home, police said.
Anyone knowing his whereabouts was urged to call 949-724-7200.
