

A 59-year-old man who suffers from dementia was reported missing Monday in Paramount, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
James Barry Turner, Sr. was last seen between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. Monday near his residence in 13800 block of Arthur Avenue, LASD officials said.
Turner is Black, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs 170 pounds with black hair, a gray beard and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing brown pants, a white shirt and no shoes or socks.
Anyone with information on Turner’s whereabouts was asked to contact the LASD Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500. Anonymous tips can be called in to Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or submitted at lacrimestoppers.org.
