

Officers found a man in his 40s fatally wounded inside a vehicle in Long Beach, authorities said Saturday.
Officers responding just before 7 p.m. Friday to a shooting report near West Barclay Street and Long Beach Boulevard West, came upon a man seated in a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds to his chest, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
Paramedics brought the man to an area hospital, where he later died.
Long Beach police homicide detectives urged anyone with information regarding the shooting to call 562-570-7244 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
