LASD seeks public’s help finding missing woman last seen in La Puente

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department sought the public’s help Wednesday to locate a missing 18-year-old woman who was last heard from in La Puente.

Dayanara “Daya” Celeste Cervantes was last contacted at about 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday, according to an LASD statement.

Cervantes is Hispanic, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighs 110 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white top and blue jeans.

Anyone with information of Cervantes’ whereabouts was asked to can contact the LASD Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500. Anonymous tips can be called in to Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or submitted online at lacrimestoppers.org
