LA Sheriff’s Dept. seeks public’s help finding Lancaster teen

Sheriff’s detectives asked for public help Monday evening to find a 17-year-old boy who went missing earlier in Lancaster.

Anakin Hamilton was last seen about 4 p.m. in the 2600 block of Belvedere Lane, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Hamilton is Black. He stands 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds, the LASD reported. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Hamilton was last seen wearing a gray shirt and white basketball shorts, the LASD reported.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts was asked to call the sheriff’s missing persons unit at 323-890-5500 or 911. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477. To report a tip anonymously online, go to lacrimestoppers.org.
