Deputies seek public’s help finding woman last seen in Los Angeles

Authorities Friday sought the public’s assistance to locate a 29-year-old woman diagnosed with bipolar disorder, last seen in the Gramercy Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Krista Marie Slater, also known by the nickname “Kris-Kris,” was last seen about 10 a.m. Tuesday in the 2000 block of West Century Boulevard, according to a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department statement.

Slater is Black, 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs 220 pounds, with brown eyes and short brown hair.

Anyone with information of her whereabouts was asked to contact the LASD Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500.  Anonymous tips can be called in to Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or submitted online at lacrimestoppers.org.
