A 10-year-old girl and man in his 20s were stabbed Wednesday evening in Sun Valley and a suspect was in custody.

Police responded about 9:45 p.m. to an assault with a deadly weapon call in the 7600 block of Claybeck Avenue, near San Fernando Road, where they located the two victims, who were taken to a hospital with stable vital signs, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

A suspect was taken into custody, police said, but no further details were released.
