The City of Temple City approved a permit for commercial filming near the intersection of Las Tunas Drive and Encinita Avenue. To accommodate filming activities, the city has approved street/lane closures and parking restrictions in the area.
Residents will have access to their properties but will only be allowed to enter/exit when safe to do so and at the direction of Sheriff’s Department personnel.
Street/lane closures
The following streets will be closed on May 20, 11 a.m. to May 21, 3 a.m. and on May 21, 3 p.m. to May 22, 6 a.m.:
- Las Tunas Drive’s westbound outside lane between Alessandro and Loma avenues.
- Encinita Avenue between Las Tunas Drive and Woodruff Avenue.
- Hermosa Drive between Loma and Encinita avenues.
- Alley between Encinita and Alessandro Avenues.
Parking restrictions
Parking will be prohibited on the following streets on May 20, 7 a.m. to May 22, 6 a.m.
- North side of Las Tunas Drive between Alessandro and Loma avenues.
- South side of Las Tunas Drive, 250 feet east and west of Encinita Avenue.
- Both sides of Encinita Avenue, 200 feet south of Las Tunas Drive.
- Both sides of Encinita Avenue between Las Tunas Drive and Woodruff Avenue.
- East side of Encinita Avenue between Woodruff and Garibaldi avenues.
- Both sides of Hermosa Drive between Loma and Encinita avenues.
