Authorities Monday identified a man who was fatally shot at a gas station in Hacienda Heights and continued their efforts to find two men seen leaving the scene.
The shooting was reported about 11:40 p.m. Sunday at an Arco station in the 17100 block of Colima Road, according to Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Jose Salvidres, 41, died at the scene, according to the coroner’s office and the sheriff’s department. His city of residence was not known.
Sheriff’s homicide detectives conducting a crime-scene investigation learned two male suspects were seen traveling westbound on Colima Road from the gas station in a blue Hyundai Sonata sedan, Koerner said.
Anyone with information on the case was urged to call homicide detectives at 323-890-5500 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
