A brush fire erupted near the Santa Fe Dam in Irwindale and quickly scorched 10 acres, but no structures were threatened.
The Santa Fe Fire erupted for unknown reasons in the 15000 block of east Arrow Highway about 3:30 p.m., the Los Angeles County Fire Department reported.
No structures were threatened and no evacuations were ordered as of about 3:45 p.m.
