Detectives seek help to locate missing woman last seen in La Puente

A 26-year-old woman diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder was missing Tuesday morning after last being seen in La Puente.

Carla Barraza was last seen at about 7:30 p.m. Friday in the 500 block of Chatterton Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Barraza is Hispanic, 5 feet tall, weighs 125 pounds, with brown shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black sweater, dark blue jeans and a blue top.

Anyone with information of Barraza’s whereabouts should contact the LASD Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500. Anonymous tips can be called in to Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or submitted online at lacrimestoppers.org.
