A person was shot Thursday in East Los Angeles.
The shooting was reported at about 4:55 p.m. in the area of Whittier Boulevard and South Atlantic Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
One person was found suffering gunshot wounds at the scene and taken to a hospital in unknown condition.
Sheriff’s deputies remained in the area to search for a male suspected of the shooting, CBS2 reported.
