Two men fatally shot in Arlington Heights, 3rd victim in stable condition

LAPD seeks shooter

Two men were shot to death and a woman was wounded overnight Monday in a shooting at a strip mall in the Arlington Heights area of Los Angeles.

The shooting was reported just before 1 a.m. at Crenshaw and Washington boulevards, said Officer A. Delatorre of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.

The men, between the ages of 25 and 30, were pronounced dead at the scene, Delatorre said. Their names were withheld, pending notification of their relatives.

Paramedics took the wounded woman to a hospital, where she was listed in stable condition, the LAPD reported.

According to police, the shooting occurred in the parking lot of a strip mall.

“When officers arrived they found a victim who had suffered gunshot wounds … inside of his vehicle and unresponsive,” police said in a statement.

“A second victim was down in the parking lot,” police said. “He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was unresponsive.”

No arrests were reported, and no suspect information was available.

A news videographer at the scene said the shooting was outside a 7- Eleven store.

Anyone with information on the crime was urged to call detectives at 213-382-9470, or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
