Authorities today identified a man who died in an apparent gang-related shooting in Hacienda Heights that left another man wounded, as investigators continued their efforts to solve the crime.
Albert Balderrama Jr., 45, of Pico Rivera, died at the scene of the shooting, which occurred about 7:05 p.m. Sunday in the 16000 block of Sigman Street, according to the coroner’s office and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Arriving deputies found both victims in front of a home, said Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau. The survivor, whose name was withheld, was hospitalized in stable condition.
No murder weapon was found and no suspect information was available, Koerner said.
