La Mirada senior with dementia, diabetes reported missing

A 75-year-old La Mirada man diagnosed with dementia was reported missing this morning.

Mario Peraza was last seen about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday leaving his home in the 14300 block of Bora Drive in an unknown direction and has not returned, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Peraza is Hispanic, 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs 195 pounds with short gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a beige jacket, beige pants and brown shoes, and a New York Yankees baseball cap, the department said.

Anyone with information on Peraza’s whereabouts was asked to call the sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500.
