Speed is believed to have been a factor.

A man died today when he crashed his 2009 Yamaha RZF-R6 motorcycle into a North Long Beach building.
The crash occurred about 11 a.m. near the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and 59th Street, said Long Beach police.
The preliminary investigation indicated the 22-year-old Long Beach man was northbound on Atlantic from South Street when he lost control and crashed into the building. Speed is believed to have been a factor but it is not known whether drugs and/or alcohol played a part, police said.
The man was taken by paramedics to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said. His name was withheld pending notification of relatives.
Anyone with information was asked to contact Detective Kevin Matter or Detective Kelsey Myers at 562-570-7355 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS (8477).
