‘Tisthe season to be home for the holidays, celebrating, joy, family, warmth, andgood food. But many in the San Gabriel Valley do not have those privilegesright now — disparities that have been worsened due to the pandemic.
To support Foothill Unity Center — a nonprofit offering food, temporary shelter, case management, transportation, referrals and a variety of health services for low-income and homeless people in eleven communities in Los Angeles County — Ishika Muchhal is hosting a virtual concert fundraiser this Sunday from 7–9 p.m. that will be streamed live on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook.
Theevent will feature artists from across the country performing songs, dances,music, spoken word, along with speakers from Foothill Unity Center sharingheartwarming stories of hope and service. It’s the perfect way to step into theholiday spirit of fun and giving back.
