Man Shot Dead in Pasadena, Police Investigating

A 29-year-old Pasadena man was shot and killed in a residential area of the city last weekend.

On Friday, Nov. 13, 2020, at approximately 8:09 p.m., the Pasadena Police Department received several calls of shots fired in the 200 block of Parke Street. Officers arrived on scene and located the adult male victim on the sidewalk. Officers approached the victim to render aid and realized the victim was deceased.

Officers began their canvassing efforts for evidence and witnesses. Homicide detectives responded to the scene and continued with the investigation.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was walking on the south sidewalk when the suspect(s) fired numerous shots at him, striking him numerous times in the upper torso. The victim attempted to run but collapsed from his injuries.

This is an active investigation and detectives are currently following up with all leads. The motive remains unknown and there is no further details at this time.
