Monrovia Police Investigate Attempted Murder

MonroviaPolice Department detectives are conducting an attempted murder investigationfollowing a shooting on Friday, Nov. 6, 2020, at approximately 7:20 p.m.

Officersresponded to the 600 block of South Shamrock after receiving a call reporting thatshots had been fired in the area.

Oneadult male sustained two non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. He wastransported to a local hospital for treatment.

Evidenceof the shooting was recovered at the scene. The motive for the shooting remainsunclear.
