Mathew Knowles will teach a virtual course on the music entertainment industry at the University of Houston. It can be hard climbing the ladder in the entertainment industry, but now students at University of Houston have the opportunity to take a master class with none other than music mogul Mathew Knowles. Knowles is well known in the industry for founding Music World Entertainment and Artist Management, as well as his most successful accomplishment — being Beyoncé and Solange Knowles’ father.

UNIVERSITY OF HOUSTON PRODUCES STARS : Famous University of Houston alumni The longtime Houstonian and former manager of Grammy award-winning group Destiny’s Child, has “seen it all” in the industry, according to a statement . “I want to establish a true understanding of music in entertainment,” Knowles said. “It took years of learning and experiences to get to this place in my life where I can talk about any aspect of the music industry.” The course, “The Music Industry and the Digital Age,” is going to be offered in January, and will be a 15-week virtual course.
