Three teenage girls, who were all considered missing persons, were rescued by Long Beach detectives and two suspects were arrested on suspicion of human trafficking and forcing them to commit acts of prostitution, authorities said this week. Mycal Brandon Ruff, 32, of Carson and Dezere Renee Romero, 21, of San Bernardino, were arrested at the same Carson address six days apart and within a month of the discovery and rescue of the three victims, ages 15, 16, and 17, according to arrest records.
