Protesters leave coffins on councilwoman’s lawn as city debates final budget

Protesters who gathered at Recreation Park this afternoon marched to Councilwoman Suzie Price’s home in Belmont Heights and left coffins on her front yard as they demanded leaders defund police and adopt a “People’s Budget.” The protesters chanted “Suzie, what’s your price?” in front of the councilwoman’s home.
