July20
At11:01 a.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 700 block of ArcadiaAvenue regarding a fraud report. While conducting a credit check, the victimdiscovered someone obtained a loan in her name for nearly $5,000. The victimdoes not know how the suspect obtained her personal information nor theidentity of the suspect.
At2:21 p.m., an officer responded to a residence in the1100 block of Encanto Drive, regarding a residential burglary investigation.The officer discovered the unknown suspect(s) used a ladder to access thesecond story balcony. The suspects smashed a glass door to the master bedroom,ransacked the bedroom, ripped the alarm system from the wall, and fled throughthe front door. The only loss reported was a handgun. There is no suspectinformation as of the date of this report.
At3:51 p.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 400 block of WalnutAvenue regarding a vandalism report. Sometime between 3 p.m. on July 19 and3:30 p.m. on July 20, an unknown suspect threw a beer bottle and shattered thevictim’s driver side window. The investigation is pending a review of thesurveillance footage.
At6:53 p.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 100 block of East LongdenAvenue regarding a mail theft report. The witness reported seeing the suspectsteal several pieces of mail from a neighbor’s mailbox. The suspect isdescribed as a heavy set, Hispanic male wearing a red hat, and he fled in amaroon car. No surveillance footage was located during an area search.
July21
At3:04 a.m., an officer responded to Arcadia Center Pharmacy, located at 631 W.Duarte Road, regarding a commercial burglary report. An investigation revealedthe suspect broke the front glass door and cut one of the bars to the interiorsecurity gate. The suspect fled before entering the business. The investigationis pending a review of the business’ surveillance footage.
At5:46 a.m., an officer responded to Margit Holakoui Florist, located at 1012Northview Ave., regarding a commercial burglary in progress. The victim wasalerted by her camera system when a lone suspect entered her business and wasobserved stealing the cash register. The officer discovered the suspect likelyentered the business by prying the north door. The suspect is described as atall, thin male wearing a hooded sweatshirt, who was approximately 5 feet 10inches. The investigation is pending a review of additional surveillancefootage.
July22
At11:36 a.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 100 block of WestLongden Avenue regarding a vehicle burglary report. Sometime during theprevious evening, an unknown suspect entered the vehicle possibly using aremote key that was nearby and stole the victim’s laptop. There is no suspectinformation at this time.
At11:55 a.m., an officer responded to an alley near 502 E. Live Oak Ave.regarding a vandalism report. The reporting party saw three separate incidentsof graffiti involving the name “Disney” in the immediate area. The suspect, a29-year-old male from Arcadia, is outstanding at the time of this report.

At4:36 a.m., an officer responded to the Arcadia Police Department front counterregarding a domestic violence investigation. The victim had an argument withher boyfriend, which escalated into a battery. The victim sustained minorbruising and cuts to her arms and hands. Officers located the suspect andarrested the 36-year-old male from Arcadia.
At6 a.m., an officer responded to A1 Fitness, located at35 S. First Ave., regarding a commercial burglary report. Surveillance footagerevealed the male suspect entered the gym by forcing open the rear door andstole numerous pieces of exercise equipment. The victim discovered the suspectis likely the same person that burglarized the location on April 23, 2020. Theinvestigation is ongoing.
July24
At12:28 p.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 600 block of North FirstAvenue regarding a burglary report. Witnesses reported seeing three suspectsfleeing from the vacant home. The suspects are described as two Hispanic malesand a Hispanic female, approximately 40-years-old, with curly brown hair, andwearing a black shirt, black shorts, pink backpack, and glasses. It appearsthey fled with no stolen property.
At10:08 p.m., an officer responded to a residence in the600 block of Vaquero Road regarding a package theft report. Surveillancefootage revealed the victim’s package was stolen from her porch by a malesuspect with his t-shirt covering his face. He fled in a black ChevroletSuburban. The investigation is ongoing.
July25
At9:16 a.m., an officer responded to Hilton Garden Inn, located at 199 N. SecondAve., regarding a theft from vehicle report. The victim discovered his digitalcamera, cash, and a portable charger had been stolen from his unlocked vehiclesometime during the previous night. There is no suspect information at thistime.
At7:26 p.m., an officer responded to JJ Auto Body, located at 115 La Porte St.,regarding a commercial burglary report. During the previous night, unknownsuspect(s) entered the business, possibly through an unlocked door, and stolefour vehicles from the secured parking lot. The investigation is ongoing.
