The Community Services Department is hosting the 2020 Movies in the Park, despite the pandemic, at Recreation Park starting Saturday.
Reservations are required to attend. All events will have designated family reservation spots to maintain 6 feet of space between those outside of a household. Guests must also wear masks and follow guidelines set by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. The city may impose additional restrictions or cancel the events.
Recreation Park is located at 620 S. Shamrock Ave. The event will start at 6:30 p.m. and the movie will start showing at 7:30 p.m. Scheduled movies include:
- “Detective Pikachu” on Saturday, July 18.
- “Little Rascals” on Saturday, July 25.
- “Frozen 2” on Saturday, Aug. 1.
- “Toy Story 4” on Saturday, Aug. 8.
