Monrovians Can Watch a Movie in the Park Starting This Saturday
The Community Services Department is hosting the 2020 Movies inthe Park, despite the pandemic, at Recreation Park starting Saturday.
Reservations are required to attend. All events will havedesignated family reservation spots to maintain 6 feet of space between thoseoutside of a household. Guests must also wear masks and follow guidelines setby the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. The city may imposeadditional restrictions or cancel the events.
Recreation Park is located at 620 S. Shamrock Ave. The event willstart at 6:30 p.m. and the movie will start showing at 7:30 p.m. Scheduledmovies include:
- “DetectivePikachu” on Saturday, July 18.
- “LittleRascals” on Saturday, July 25.
- “Frozen 2” onSaturday, Aug. 1.
- “ToyStory 4” on Saturday, Aug. 8.
