Burger Week in Los Angeles and Orange Counties: July 12-18, 2020
As restaurants begin to partially reopen amidst the cautious easing of restrictions across Southern California, the popular food blog Foodbeast and KFI AM 640’s food show, “The Fork Report: Hosted by Neil Saavedra,” have teamed up to introduce Burger Week from Sunday, July 12, 2020 to Sunday, July 18, 2020. This celebration comes as a rallying campaign to support local restaurants across both Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
“Restaurants have just experienced one of the most challenging times in recent history and the only way to help them is to come together as a culinary community to show our support,” says Pamela Waitt, president of the OC Restaurant Association. “In addition to our incredible sponsors, Shamrock Foods and Maker’s Mark, we are thrilled to partner with Foodbeast and ‘The Fork Report Hosted by Neil Saavedra’ while bringing Orange County and Los Angeles together to officially introduce Burger Week 2020. If there was ever a time to support your local eateries, it’s definitely now.”
Participating restaurants across the Los Angeles and Orange counties will be featuring burgers of every kind, ranging from classic to creative and featuring proteins including beef, chicken, turkey, mushroom, and plant-based options, on menus priced at $10, $15, $20, and luxe $25 menus. Many will also be featuring special dine-in, takeout, and delivery packages along with specialty cocktails made with Maker’s Mark, Hornitos Tequila, or Knob Creek Bourbon Whiskey. Pasadena restaurants Foothill and Mi Piace are participating alongside many other Los Angeles eateries.
