

On Wednesday, July 8 at 6 p.m., the National Women’s PoliticalCaucus (NWPC) for the Greater Pasadena Area will present a virtual politicaltraining session that invites women who are considering running for politicaloffice to hear from women who have been there.
Whether your interest is in serving on the local school board, acity commission or the city council, current and former women office holderswill share their expertise and experience.
Open to women living in Altadena, Glendale, La Cañada, Pasadenaand Sierra Madre, this virtual political campaign strategy training sessionwill provide information about everything from how to negotiate the campaignfiling process to getting appointed to city or county commissions.
Highlighting this virtual training session for women will be former Pasadena Vice-Mayor and current NWPC-Greater Pasadena Area Chairperson Jacque Robinson-Baisley and Pasadena City Clerk Mark Jomsky. Other participants include Sandra Chen Lau, Pasadena City College trustee; former Pasadena city council candidates Char Bland and Tammy Godley; and retired educator Dianne Philibosian. Register here.
