June 21

At4:02 p.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 400 block of Santa CruzRoad regarding a vandalism investigation. The victim discovered an unknownsuspect used a black marker to draw a swastika on her mailbox. Theinvestigation is pending a review of surveillance footage.

At4:03 p.m., the Arcadia Police Department received anelectronic report of a mail theft report from the 300 block of Oxford Drive.The victim stated he heard a noise at 1:35 a.m. near their mailbox and, uponinvestigating it himself, he witnessed a sedan drive away. The victim statedthe suspect(s) stole all but two pieces of mail. There is no suspectinformation at this time.

June 22

At7:58 a.m., an officer responded to Magic Cube Express, located at 11860Goldring Road, regarding a commercial burglary report. The reporting partydiscovered unknown suspects entered the business by cutting a hole in the baydoor and the suspects fled with cellphone accessories valued at $1,800. Theinvestigation is pending a review of surveillance footage.

At11:51 a.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 400 block of WestWoodruff Avenue regarding a residential burglary report. Sometime during theprevious night, unidentified suspects smashed a rear bedroom glass door,ransacked the home, and fled with an unknown amount of property. Theinvestigation is pending a review of the victim’s surveillance footage.

June 23

At1:36 p.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 00 block of West PalmDrive regarding an identity theft report. The victim checked his businesschecking account and discovered two fraudulent checks had been processed andresulted in a total loss of $16,501. The suspect obtained the victim’s routingand account numbers, made checks using the victim’s numbers but used adifferent name and mailing address, and successfully passed the fraudulentcheck. The victim does not know how the suspect obtained his personalinformation.

At5:20 p.m., an officer responded to U Dental, located at 125 E. Duarte Road,regarding a theft report. The officer discovered the victim, a dentalassistant, had her wallet stolen from the employee lunchroom between 1:40 p.m.and 4:45 p.m. There were suspicious subjects that entered the business duringthe time of the crime. The investigation is pending a review of thesurveillance footage.

June 24

At5:46 p.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 500 block of West LeroyAvenue regarding an identity theft report. The victim discovered unknownsuspects used his personal information to sign up for two separate car loanswith Carvana.com. The victim is not desirous of prosecution and does not knowthe identity of the suspects or how they obtained his information.

June 25

At5:43 a.m., an officer responded to the 800 block of Sunset Boulevard regardinga mail theft report. A witness saw a suspicious vehicle drive away afterhearing someone tampering with the mailboxes and was able to provide the policewith the license plate. Officers located the vehicle, initiated a traffic stop.During a search of the vehicle, the officers located burglary tools, fraudulentchecks, and personal identifiable information for more than 50 victims. A28-year-old female from Lemoore, a 29-year-old female from Baldwin Park, and a23-year-old female from Los Angeles were arrested and transported to theArcadia City Jail for booking.

At2:31 p.m., an officer responded to the 700 block ofSouthview Road regarding a vehicle burglary report. An investigation revealedan unknown suspect smashed the victim’s front passenger window and ransackedthe interior of her vehicle. The victim was unsure if any property had beenstolen. The suspect(s) also broke into a second vehicle at the location andfled with a stolen wallet. The suspect then made fraudulent purchases on thevictim’s debit and credit cards. The investigation is ongoing.

At3:19 p.m., officers responded to a residence in the 800 block of WestHuntington Drive regarding a domestic violence investigation. The officerdiscovered a verbal altercation between a husband and wife escalated when thehusband grabbed the wife by the shirt and struck her twice in the face. The31-year-old male from Arcadia was arrested and transported to the Arcadia CityJail for booking.  

At9:33 p.m., an officer responded to a Salon Dongtian, located at 1039 S. BaldwinAve. regarding a commercial burglary report. The victim stated she left herpurse on a table in the back of the salon and later discovered it had beenstolen. The victim found that the rear security screen had been damaged. Theinvestigation is pending a review of their surveillance footage.

June 26

At6:57 p.m., an officer responded to a residence in the300 block of East Camino Real Avenue regarding a burglary report. The reportingparty, a neighbor and caretaker for the residence, heard a loud bang andwitnessed a suspicious suspect running from the home to an awaiting black FordMustang. Upon checking the residence, the neighbor located a broken window andcalled the police. The suspects were gone by the time the officers arrived. Thesuspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall witha muscular build, dark hair, and dark clothing.

June 27

At12:50 p.m., an officer responded to a possible robbery investigation thatoccurred in the 100 block of West Forest Avenue. An investigation revealed thesuspects targeted the victim out of jealousy of a dating relationship andultimately assaulted a male victim and fled with the victim’s gaming consoleand cash. The investigation is ongoing.

At5:58 p.m., an officer took a telephonic report of a mail theft report thatoccurred in the 1000 block of South Second Avenue. The victim discovered thelock to her mailbox had been tampered with and two checks had been stolen.There is no suspect information at the time of this report.
