Family Fun Coming to Monrovia Via City Safari Adventure

Your City Safari is a scavenger hunt-like animal safari that people can experience at their own leisurely pace from the safety of their cars and it’s coming to Monrovia. The safari will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on June 12–14 and feature more than 12 wild animal stations that have large inflated animals, trivia, prizes, and sponsor specials. A safari map that pinpoints the location of each wild animal station will be available online at yourcitysafari.com beginning on the first day of the event.
The map willshow a three-block radius where each wild animal is located. Each animal willbe accompanied by a sign with a secret letter in the corner. Gathering all theletters will spell out a secret code. Participants who are stuck finding ananimal can ask for a hint by sending e-mail to info@yourcitysafari.com and willreceive an immediate response.
Participantswho e-mail the completed secret code to info@yourcitysafari.com will be enteredto win one of a number of prizes — including Vans shoes, restaurant giftcertificates, and even sidewalk chalk. The goal is to try to make everyone awinner.
Your City Safari was developed to give families a much-needed break from COVID-19 lockdowns. The first event was held in May in Glendora but this time around there will be new surprises, including some new animals and a drive-thru photo booth with green screen technology to show participants on a real safari.
