YWCAPasadena-Foothill Valley will hold its annual Women for Racial JusticeBreakfast virtually this year on Oct. 19, 2020. “Our Breakfast is acornerstone in our community engagement,” said Board President AngelineChen. “We knew that we needed to pivot online in order to protect thehealth of our supporters, while still holding space for our community to cometogether and celebrate racial justice work.”
Racial Justice Breakfast co-chairs Lupe Perez and Deborah Hall Kinley arededicated to making sure that the event will be as powerful, enlightening, and movingas ever. Although the community cannot gather physically, the virtual formatwill allow the message of racial justice to reach even farther and expose thework of the Racial Justice Award honorees to a larger audience.
TheYWCA invites businesses and individuals to sponsor the event, connect with thecommunity, and join the YWCA in thanking the honorees for their work. ContactYWCA Director of Advancement Christina Lisotto at clisotto@ywca-pasadena.orgfor more information on how to participate.
