Motorist Brandishes Firearm at Monrovia Protesters
During one of the more vocal protests at Monrovia Library Park, on June 3 at 5:26 p.m. demonstrators were peacefully protesting in the 300 block of South Myrtle when a motorist started a conflict with some of the young people exercising their First Amendment rights.
According to Monrovia police written reports, the motorist brandished a gun and then sped away, heading north on Myrtle. Officers responded and detained the motorist in the area.
