Rob McClinton, a Monrovian, has created an app to support local restaurants and “remind all of us of the variety of options we are fortunate to have in our little town,” according to the app’s about section.

The “Be Local Strong: Monrovia” app lets users know which restaurants are operating, which have curbside service or other delivery services and provides a link to order. The app also provides general information like the restaurant’s address, contact info, and the type of food offered.

The app also includes a function to suggest that a restaurant be added to its listings. There is no fee to be listed so restauranteurs not listed can submit a listing as well.

According to the app’s about section, as restrictions on different types of businesses are lifted, the app creators will revisit “how [they] can best support the return of those businesses to the marketplace.”
