Pasadena Media Premieres Interactive TV Show to Connect the Community During COVID-19 Crisis

On April 17,Pasadena Media will debut Arroyo Live, a hyper-localtelevision talk show focused on issues within Pasadena, with a spotlight on theeffects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Host Joe Carbonetta invites Pasadenaorganizational and business leaders for an in-depth discussion and welcomes communitymembers to join the conversation by phone and through social media.

Upcomingguests include Paul Little, president & CEO of the Pasadena Chamber ofCommerce; Gail Schaper-Gordon, coach/leader for Vistage and Robin Salzer, founderof Robin’s Wood Fire BBQ Catering Company. In the future, ArroyoLive will tackle additional topics like homelessness, city planningand senior living.

Arroyo Live will broadcast live onTuesday nights at 6 p.m. and Friday nights at 5:30 p.m. on the Arroyo channel, foundon Spectrum channel 32 in Pasadena and parts of Altadena and on AT&TU-verse channel 99 where available in LA County. Viewers can also stream theprogram live or on-demand at pasadenamedia.org and on Pasadena Media’s social mediaplatforms. Community members can learn how to participate by visiting pasadenamedia.org.

Pasadena Media is an operating company and the community access television station for the City of Pasadena that offers a wide spectrum of diverse and dynamic local programming for the people and by the people. In addition to facilitating the four PEG channels within Pasadena, Pasadena Media also provides hands-on video production experience and job skills training.
