March 8
Shortlybefore 12:11 a.m., an officer responded to the 400 block of East HuntingtonDrive regarding a transient sleeping in a secured parking lot. A records checkrevealed the 33-year-old male from Pomona had five outstanding misdemeanorwarrants. The suspect admitted to being in possession of a controlled substanceand a methamphetamine pipe. He was arrested and transported to the Arcadia CityJail for booking.
Atapproximately 8:56 p.m., an officer responded to aparking lot in the 1200 block of South Baldwin Avenue regarding a theft fromvehicle report. Sometime between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. on March 8, a suspect stolethe victim’s rear driver side wheel and tire. No suspects were seen and nowitnesses were located.
March 9
Just after 5p.m., an officer responded to Residence Inn, located at 321 E. HuntingtonDrive, regarding a vandalism report. The victim discovered an unknown suspectsmashed his rear driver side window and scratched the hood of his vehicle. Nosuspects were seen and no witnesses were located.
Atapproximately 5:29 p.m., an officer responded to the Arcadia Police Department’sfront counter regarding a fraud report. An investigation revealed the suspectstole a signed check from his home and cashed it. The investigation isongoing.
March 10
Around 12:21p.m., officers responded to a residence in the 400 block of East Lemon Avenueregarding a residential burglary report. The officer determined unknownsuspect(s) smashed a rear door, ransacked the home, and fled with an unknownamount of property. The investigation is ongoing.
Just before4 p.m., officers responded to a residence in the 100 block of West Pamela Roadregarding a domestic disturbance report. The officers discovered an altercationbetween a husband and wife turned physical with both sustaining injuries. The29-year-old husband, from Arcadia, was arrested and transported to the ArcadiaCity Jail for booking.
March 11
Around 12:19a.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 100 block of West Live OakAvenue regarding a residential burglary report. An investigation revealed thesuspects entered through an unlocked front door. The suspects stole clothing, awallet, and a set of keys, and then fled through the garage door. Theinvestigation is ongoing.
Shortly after 2:41 p.m., an officer responded to Victoria’s Secret, located at 400 S. Baldwin Ave., regarding a grand theft report. Surveillance footage revealed one suspect stole numerous items of women’s clothing, on March 11, at approximately 11:06 a.m. The suspect is described as a white male with a goatee mustache, and he was wearing black colored clothing. The investigation is ongoing.
March 12
Before 10:06a.m., an officer responded to the City of Arcadia Public Works Facility, locatedat 11800 Goldring Road, regarding a grand theft report. An investigation revealed unknown suspect(s)cut the lock to the secured parking lot and siphoned fuel out of a storage tank.The investigation is ongoing.
Around 4 p.m., an officer responded the Arcadia Police Department frontcounter regarding vehicle burglary that occurred at 24 Hour Fitness, located at125 N. First Ave., on March 12. An unknown suspect pried open the victim’ssecured vehicle, stole cash and credit cards from the victim’s wallet, and thenused the credit cards to complete fraudulent transactions. The investigation isongoing.
March 13
At about 1:39p.m., an officer responded to the 100 block of North First Avenue regarding abattery report that occurred in the area on March 11. An investigation revealeda battery occurred between two transients resulting in the suspect punching thevictim once in the face. The suspect, a 60-year-old male from Arcadia, isoutstanding as of March 17.
Just before 7:46 p.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 1300 blockof Oaklawn Road regarding an attempted residential burglary report. A neighborencountered three suspects in the backyard of a nearby residence. The suspectsfled to an awaiting vehicle. The suspects are described as three males allwearing hooded sweatshirts, baseball caps, and bandanas across their faces. Theinvestigation is ongoing.
March 14
Shortly after 1:40 a.m., an officer initiated contact with the driver of a vehicle obstructing the roadway near the intersection of West Camino Real Avenue and South Santa Anita Avenue. Upon contacting the driver, the officer detected a strong odor of alcohol emitting from the running vehicle. Through a series of tests, the officer determined the suspect was driving with a blood alcohol content above .08%. The 41-year-old female from Pasadena was arrested and transported to the Arcadia City Jail for booking.
Atapproximately 8:31 a.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 300 blockof South Third Avenue regarding a commercial burglary report. An investigationrevealed unknown suspect(s) broke into the victim’s locked storage shed andstole a hedge trimmer. The investigation is ongoing.
