The Monrovia Area Partnership (MAP) Team is hosting the 11th Annual Neighborhood Conference, and they are looking for community members to help make it a success.
The MAP Team is calling on community leaders to get creative and create a centerpiece to decorate the tables at the ceremony. Those looking to participate can stop by City Hall to pick up a blank canvas that they may decorate as they see fit, however, they are encouraged to incorporate this year’s theme: “Bloom where you are planted.” The deadline to turn in the centerpiece is March 13.
Another way to get involved is by spreading the words to individuals or organizations who may be interested in providing a sponsorship donation. In exchange for the donation, sponsors will receive various advertising opportunities to gain customers or educate people about what they do.
The conference is a free event open to the community. It will be held on Saturday, April 4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 925 S. Shamrock Ave.
