The Monrovia League will be holding their monthly meeting Feb. 18 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 122 S. California Ave., Monrovia. Elizabeth Cady Stanton, the 19th century women’s rights mover and shaker, will be visiting in the form of the RD Players, a troop of historical re-enactors. As a fund raiser the Monrovia League will be having a “St. Patrick’s Day Bingo and Baked Potato Bash” on Tuesday, March 3 at 11 a.m. This event will be held at First Lutheran Church, 1323 S. Magnolia Ave., Monrovia. The public is invited to join for fun, food and games. A $20 donation benefits the Monrovia League’s projects.
