Beginning Feb. 3, Southern California Edison (SCE), along with other approved contractors (International Line Builders and Rokstad), will be working in the neighborhood on and near Ivy Avenue adjacent to City Hall to make improvements to the electrical grid. The project will upgrade and replace aging underground equipment and infrastructure to improve overall circuit reliability.
Due to the nature of this work, there will be two planned outages. Those impacted by the project and outages should have received public notification and outreach material from SCE and should receive a secondary notification 72 hours prior to scheduled outages.
The duration of the project is expected to last through March 2020.
This scope of work requires traffic lane and sidewalk closures. Be mindful of traffic control, including traffic detours and posted signage.
