Arcadia City Council Elections to be Held on April 14

The City of Arcadia will be holding an election for City Council members representing City Council Districts 1 and 4 on Tuesday, April 14, 2020. This will not be a citywide election and only registered voters in Districts 1 and 4 will receive a vote-by-mail ballot beginning March 16, 2020. The deadline to register to vote for this election is March 30, 2020. To determine whether you live in District 1 or District 4, please visit ArcadiaCA.gov/elections.

The City Council candidates are:

District 1:
April Verlato
Yuli Sira

District 4:
Paul Cheng
Peter Amundson

Completed ballots must be postmarked by Tuesday, April 14, 2020 in order to be counted. Alternatively, you can drop off your ballot at Arcadia City Hall, located at 240 W. Huntington Drive, by 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2020.

Other elections being held in 2020 include the Tuesday, March 3, 2020, Primary Election as well as the Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020, General Election. Registered voters will have the opportunity to use any of L.A. County’s new Vote Centers or can mail in their ballot depending on how the individual is registered.
