Jack Russell’s Great White at The Rose at 9 p.m. (245 E. Green St., Pasadena, CA 91101). The Southern California blues/hard rock band Great White first took a bite out of the rock scene in 1984 and since then has achieved worldwide success, encompassing sales of over six million records. Pasadena Community Orchestra at First Church of the Nazarene on Jan. 24 at 8 p.m. (2700 E. Sierra Madre Blvd., Pasadena, CA 91107). Historic Gold Line Pub Crawl at Del Mar Metro Gold Line Station from 1:30-5:30 p.m. (265 S. Arroyo Parkway, Pasadena, CA 91101). Join experienced docents along the original route of the Santa Fe Railroad as they take you to two historic Santa Fe Depots, and the historic site where the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railways converged. Tour will include stops at three breweries including two new stops outside of Pasadena — Hop Secret in Monrovia and Mt. Lowe Brewing Company in Arcadia. 2020 Pasadena Heritage Docent Training at Madison House from 9 a.m. – noon (651 S. Saint John Ave., Pasadena, CA 91105). What is docent training? It will focus on Pasadena’s early history, Pasadena Heritage’s role in the community, as well as the architectural development of Pasadena. You will also learn some general docent guidelines and strategies.
