James Intveld at Arcadia Blues Club from 7-11:30 p.m. (16 E. Huntington Drive, Arcadia, CA 91006). James Intveld is a native of Los Angeles who started his career at an early age listening and singing along to his parents’ recordings of Hank Williams, Sr., Dean Martin, Lefty Frizzell, and Elvis. Haunted Pasadena Walking Tour in Pasadena from 6:30-8:30 p.m. (starting point is at Performer Statue outside of the Stand: 36 S. El Molino Ave., Pasadena, CA 91101 ). Stroll with Pasadena Walking Tours on the dark side of the streets of Pasadena and meet the phantoms who haunt its alleys, underground tunnels, corridors, and back rooms. The tour spans two hours and is not suitable for younger children due to the nature of the stories told during the tour.  Tickets are $25 for adults (ages 13 and older), $10 for children (aged 5-12), free for toddlers (ages 4 and younger). The Life and Art of Painter Jean Mannheim at Pasadena Senior Center from 2-4 p.m. (85 E. Holly St., Pasadena, CA 91103). Richard Reitzell, author of “From a Versatile Brush: The Life and Art of Jean Mannheim,” will recount the German-born impressionist’s contributions to the early Arroyo Seco artist colony in Pasadena, his training in Paris and his rise to prominence as a major figure in the early California Plein Air art scene.
