Fascinated by the Rose Parade? Want to learn more about Arcadia’s participation in the beloved annual celebration? Stop by the Gilb Museum of Arcadia Heritage on Saturday, Jan. 11 at 10 a.m. for local historian Lee Shimmin’s presentation on “The Pasadena Rose Parade.”

The Gilb Museum has been offering Saturday morning “Coffee Talks” for several years: local history buffs can enjoy a hot cup of coffee on brisk Saturday mornings as historians share new, original research on the history of Arcadia.

For more information, call (626) 574-5440 or visit the Gilb Museum’s webpage arcadiaca.gov/government/city-departments/museum. The Gilb Museum of Arcadia Heritage is located at 380 W. Huntington Drive, Arcadia, CA 91007. The Museum is open Tuesdays through Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to noon and 1–4 p.m.
