Pasadena Fire Urban Rescue  Responds to Traffic Collision with Severe Bodily Injuries on 210 in Pasadena

Two vehicles collided with each other on a rain slicked freeway Thursday morning around 8am.

The collision occurred on the westbound 210 freeway at the Lincoln off ramp this morning. Pasadena personnel including the Pasadena Urban Search and Rescue worked together to remove the driver of the van in a complex and prolonged extrication. The driver was treated and transported to the local trauma center with severe bodily injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was transported with moderate injuries. The CHP and Los Angeles City Fire Department’s Heavy Rescue 3 provided assistance.
