Global Charity Event to Fight Homelessness Is at the Rose Bowl

The World’s Big Sleep Out will be taking place in over 50 locations worldwide, Charity On Top will be hosting the Los Angeles location at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on Dec. 7. People from all over the world will sleep under the stars in solidarity for the homeless in their respective areas of the world.
The event will be supporting many local homeless charities and initiatives such as Union Rescue Mission, Everyone In powered by United Way of GreaterLosAngeles and New Directions for Veterans to name a few.
Many local organizations in Pasadena have been partnering with Everyone In powered by United Way to start changing the narrative around homelessness.
As part of their fight to end homelessness Everyone In presents stories from the frontline – an event that gives local residents no longer displaced the opportunity to share their story about overcoming homelessness.
Earlier this year local resident from Pasadena had the opportunity to share their story of courage, perseverance and how they were able to overcome homelessness with the help of local organizations in the Crown City who dedicated themselves to supporting people in need of shelter.
People attending the event will have the opportunity to learn more about all of the participating organizations working to fight homelessness in our local communities.
This family friendly charity event will also include live musical performances by Ellie Goulding, Sean Kingston, Ziggy Marley, Randy Jakson and his All-Star Band.
Showtime Comedy Star Don Frieson will kick off the night, and there will be bedtime story readings by notable celebrities including Seth Green to round up the global event.
The World’s Biggest Sleep Out will also feature video links to other celebrity readings in other participating locations such as Will Smith in New York and Dame Helen Mirren in London.
Musical performers, Athletes and many more celebrities are being added everyday for this global charity event.
The World’s Biggest Sleep Out originally was created by Scotland’s Social Bite charity founder Josh Littlejohn , and on Dec. 7 many countries will join to fight against ending homelessness all around the world together.
Charity on Top is partnering with World’s Big Sleep Out to host the Los Angeles event at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.
World’s Big Sleep out is in global partnership with the Institute for Global Homelessness (IGH), Malala Fund, and UNICEF USA.
The charity has a goal of 50,000 people to participate on the World’s Biggest Sleep Out, all the money raised from the initiative will go to registered charities fighting to end homelessness.
