Craft Club: Christmas Wreaths at Pacific Plate Brewing Co. from 7-10 p.m. (1999 S. Myrtle Ave., Monrovia, CA 91016). The holidays are creeping closer every day and stores are already advertising their gift guides; get on your decorating game with a make-and-take wreath class that’s sure to get you in the spirit. Moonlight Forest Lantern Art Festival at Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden, Nov. 15-17 and Nov. 20-21 from 5:30-10 p.m. daily (301 N. Baldwin Ave., Arcadia, CA 91007). Step into the jaws of a humongous shark or dive under the sea with fantastic fish in Ocean Visions. Experience a winter wonderland in the new Polar Dreams display. Shibori Saturdaze with Party Witch at Craft Sierra Madre from noon to 3 p.m. (49 W. Sierra Madre Blvd., Sierra Madre, CA 91024).Join Party Witch for a three-hour workshop devoted to Shibori, a centuries old pattern making process. Learn traditional folding and stitching techniques while creating your own set of tea towels. Registration is required and for participants 13 years old and older. Tickets are $70 and include all dyestuff, a set of two natural tea towels to dye and hands-on instruction from the experienced Shibori team. For more information, click here.

All talented musicians, you’ll be treated to Angela’s sultry vocals, some surprise guests, including resident male vocalist Al Timss to croon and swoon you. Chinese American Film Festival at Arcadia Public Library from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (20 W. Duarte Road, Arcadia, CA 91006). The 15th annual Chinese American Film Festival will kick-off their special community screenings in November at the Arcadia Public Library. Second Sunday Concert at Pasadena Central Library at 2:30 p.m. (285 E. Walnut St., Pasadena, CA 91101). Featured will be World War I songs sung by Soprano, Diana Diaz with Esther Liu as pianist. Some of the songs you will hear will be “Over There,” “O, How I Hate to Get Up in the Morning,” “Roses of Picardy” and “There’s a Long, Long Trail.” The concert is free. Board Games Meet-up at Copper Still Grill from 1-6:30 p.m. (608 S. Myrtle Ave., Monrovia, CA 91016). Meet new people then break up into groups of three to six people to play one of many board games. Even though the event is free, the expectation is that everyone spends at least $9-11 per person at the restaurant; you pay the restaurant directly for what you order. No outside food or drink. A weekend shopping destination featuring over 200 curated and hand-selected artisans, crafters, and DIY enthusiasts. Shoppers can expect to find trendsetting indie goods including original fashion and jewelry design, paper goods, innovative home decor and housewares, art, photography, food, plus much more.
