Could a 10-year-old dream up the next Über? Find out at the Pasadena Children’s Business Fair & Marketplace, showcasing kids’ entrepreneurial genius.

On Saturday, Nov. 16 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., the Pasadena Children’s Business Fair & Marketplace will host more than 30 young entrepreneurs at 339 S. Santa Anita Ave., Pasadena (hall of the Armenian Cilicia Church) for an inspirational shopping experience like no other. This event is free and open to the public.

Kids aged 6-16 create a product or service, develop a brand, build a marketing strategy, and then open for business at this one-day marketplace. In addition to offering customers unique gifts and handcrafted goods, these young entrepreneurs will also be visited by the host’s undercover “secret shoppers” who will aim to stretch their skills.

The fair is sponsored by We Spark Learning, Acton Academy, and the Acton School of Business, who all believe that principled entrepreneurs are role models for the next generation. Whether famous like Elon Musk or one of the thousands of unsung business owners across this country, entrepreneurs are people who make sacrifices to innovate, create jobs, forge new paths, and serve their communities.

“Today’s youth are tomorrow’s business innovators and leaders. The Children’s Business Fair gives students the opportunity to spread their entrepreneurial wings and get a head start on promising business careers,” said Jeff Sandefer, founder of the Acton School of Business, one of the sponsors of the fair.
