$20K Reward Offered for Information on 2017 Monrovia Murder Suspect

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Detectives are asking for the public’s help identifying and locating a 2017 murder suspect. The shooting death of Oscar Garcia occurred April 22, 2017, at approximately 11:36 p.m., on the 100 block of West Cypress Avenue, Monrovia.

According to law enforcement officials, the suspect is a Hispanic male, 20-25 years-old, approximately 6 feet, of medium build, with light skin, black hair and brown eyes.

There’s a $20,000 reward offered by the L.A. Board of Supervisors for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect who murdered Garcia. 

The public is asked to call Homicide Detective Matlock at (323) 890-5500 with any information.
