Free day at the Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden, the third Tuesday of each month, is so popular that to ensure an enjoyable visitor experience, advance tickets will be required beginning in September.

The tickets are free but limited. Reservations must be made in advance due to high demand and limited parking. Online ticketing opens on the first of each month at arboretum.org and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tickets for the Sept. 17 Free Tuesday will be available at 9 a.m. on Sept. 1. Tickets may be booked for either the morning 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. or afternoon 1 – 4:30 p.m.
