Five Acres, one of San Gabriel Valley’s oldest nonprofits, is returning to Annandale Golf Club with its 32nd Golf Classic and Dinner “A Night in Havana” on Monday, Sept. 16, 2019. The event will raise much-needed funds to fuel Five Acres’ programs in foster care, adoption, and mental health care for families at risk of separating.

The day is divided into two events: a golf tournament in the morning and afternoon, followed by a celebration in the evening. Non-golfers interested in supporting are encouraged to don their 1950s vintage best and attend the dinner portion, where guests will enjoy an elegant cocktail reception, gourmet dinner, exciting live auction items and live music under the stars.

Also returning for their second year as event chairs are Danny and Joey Reaume, whose family has supported Five Acres’ mission for decades.

“There are more than 20,000 children living in foster care in Los Angeles, making support to end this crisis more important than ever. Five Acres’ golf classic and dinner has raised more than $4 million to help keep children out of the system and connect those already in it with families of their own,” said the Reaumes. “It’s our privilege to continue to further Five Acres’ mission and look forward to welcoming the community to this lively event.”

The agency thanks its leading sponsors and underwriters, including Brad Reaume and Bolton & Company as Title Sponsor; The Berns Team as Ace Sponsor; Majestic Realty Co. as dinner underwriter; Fitness 19, Gallagher Insurance, Richard A. McDonald, Esq. and the William R. & Virginia Hayden Foundation as Double Eagle Sponsors; and Pasadena Now and Outlook Newspapers as digital and print media sponsors.
